SAM and SAMpeople are HR software systems tailored specifically for schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts. SAM manages staff absence, automating processes, reducing administration time and producing reports in seconds for leadership teams. You can then take action quicker to support staff, reduce costs and address trends. SAM also acts as a leave planner with an employee portal for requesting annual leave and leave of absence, tracking TOIL and Term Time +. SAM keeps all details securely in one place, employee details, occupational health reports, letters, contracts, meeting notes, fit notes and policies. SAM works around term-time patterns, inset days and part-time working. It allows you to set bespoke triggers as well as using the Bradford Factor. SAMpeople is a complete HR holistic system, incorporating SAM. It helps you manage casework, compliance, recruitment, performance and contracts. Both systems integrate with school data systems such as SIMS, Arbor, Scholarpack and Bromcom. For MATs, both systems have a MAT Dashboard that easily shows all schools across the MAT, comparing usage, absence, showing instantly who is off and who is due back to work as well as key HR statistics right across the trust. Schools using SAM effectively have seen an average reduction in absence days of 40%. Why not use our calculator to work out how much you are spending on absence and how much you could save or ask us about saving time with SAMpeople
